Common questions

I cannot sign in

remakan uses Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google, and Sign in with HUAWEI ID in the app from Huawei AppGallery. Use the same method that you used the first time. If another method gives the same email address, the app asks you to use your first method, except when Google manages that address (Gmail) or Apple manages it (iCloud or a private relay address): then it opens the same account. With HUAWEI ID, allow remakan to receive your email address when Huawei asks; if that address already has a remakan account, enter the six-digit code that we email to it. If Apple asks you to set up an Apple Account, finish that in Settings first.

My photo did not upload

Check your internet connection and save again. A save can include up to 20 photos.

A tag or dish family is wrong

Open the food and change its tags or its dish family. Your choice stays when the automatic suggestion changes.

Removing a shared place link

A shared place link stays public. Email us the link, and we remove it. Other people who shared the same place lose the same link.

Deleting my account

In the app, open My Account and choose Delete account. We delete your account, journal, and photos at once, email you a confirmation, and about 15 minutes later ask Apple to revoke remakan's access if you used Apple sign-in. With HUAWEI ID, the app asks Huawei to cancel remakan's access. If you cannot use the app, email us from the email address of your account, and we delete it within 30 days. See the privacy policy for details.
